Qualifications:

Hi! I’m Teacher Norman, a passionate drum teacher and percussion coach with over 7 years of experience helping students discover their rhythm and confidence behind various instruments, especially on the drum kit. Whether you’re a total beginner or an advanced player, I make learning fun, engaging, and tailored to your personal goals.

I teach a wide range of styles, rock, pop, jazz, funk, blues, and gospel, and my lessons cover everything from basic beats and coordination to advanced techniques and live performance skills. Each session is designed around your level and interests, blending technical drills with creativity and real music practice.

My teaching philosophy is simple: every musician has a unique groove waiting to be unlocked. I focus on building strong foundations in timing, stick control, and rhythm reading while encouraging students to experiment and express themselves musically.

Lessons are available in-person or online, with flexible scheduling and customized materials like backing tracks and practice guides. Whether you’re preparing for a band audition, learning your favorite songs, or simply exploring instruments as a new hobby, I’ll guide you every step of the way.

Let’s turn your passion for music into a real skill and have an amazing time doing it. Grab your sticks and let’s make some rhythm together!
