About

About

Noel Wentworth is a guitarist and music teacher based in Kelowna who simply loves helping people make music. He first got hooked on guitar through bands like AC/DC, Bon Jovi, and RATT, learning by ear and playing along with whatever came on the radio. That early enthusiasm grew into years of performing in cover bands, playing several nights a week, and discovering something important: music has power when it makes people feel good, move, sing, dance, or just smile.

Noel has released two original albums, Motion and Change, with songs from Change reaching #24 on the European Top 100. Beyond performing and recording, he’s also deeply involved in the community, helping raise more than $276,000 in support of Kelowna General Hospital, The Foundry, JoeAnna’s House, and Hospice. He also serves on the Central Okanagan Economic Development Committee advisory board.

As a teacher, Noel is patient, encouraging, and genuinely enjoys supporting students of all ages. He teaches guitar, bass, and ukulele, and loves working with beginners, adults returning to music later in life, and students who want to prepare for Rockschool (RSL Awards) graded exams. His lessons are always centered around the music each student is excited about, while building strong technique, confidence, and musicianship along the way.

Whether you dream of strumming around a campfire, playing your favorite songs, performing onstage, or developing your own sound, Noel meets you where you are and helps you grow from there.
