About me:
I’m Margo. I spent fifteen years singing on opera stages across Europe, trained at conservatoires in Lyon, Munich and London. For all that vocal technique and stage experience, the one thing that finally let my own voice open up and be available to me was feeling safe enough within myself to use it. This realisation is the foundation of my teaching approach.
My voice studio is neurodivergent-friendly, rooted in lived experience and ongoing CPD. I’m AuDHD, which I discovered later in life – and before I did, it took me decades of trial and error to find a way to access my own voice and find what feels authentic, beyond the masked version of me. Rooted in this lived experience, my teaching is highly adaptable and proudly neurodivergent-friendly, with the ultimate goal of guiding you to find your own vocal and expressive freedom.
What to expect in lessons:
We begin wherever you are, at any level and in any genre. My lessons are a place to release the voice and the body, let sound be free of judgement. We can meet at my home studio in Aigburth (Liverpool) or online.
– Singing Lessons: Grounded in classical technique, we work at a pace that suits you using repertoire you love. Through breath and gentle exercises, we will free your sound, build your range and resonance, and create a vocal toolbox so you can trust your voice and sound like yourself.
– Speaker Coaching: As a Certified Public Speaking Coach, I help clients build presence and confidence for talks, presentations, interviews, or simply everyday life. We start by settling nerves, then build the breath and sound needed to speak authentically.
– Getting Started: I offer a relaxed, up-to-30-minute free introductory session (with no pressure to sign up and nothing to prepare) to chat about your goals and try a little gentle voice work to see how we fit.
Lessons can be conducted in English or French. (Spanish or German are also options if you don’t mind a few grammar mistakes!)
