About Lillian Burgess
I am Lillian Burgess, a second year jazz guitar student at WAAPA. I love music. Writing and performing are such beautiful forms of expression. I want to share the passion I have to younger students so they may find their for enjoyment for music.
I am well trained in classical guitar, having lessons for 10 years and performing solo and in ensemble. During high school I played contemporary and jazz guitar, in classes and bands outside of school. Since moving to Perth, I’ve progressed further in my Jazz studies.
I will be teaching from the Progressive Guitar Method series. This teaches beginners how to read music and gain a strong understanding of the guitar. As the students’ progress I’ll expand our lessons to developing genres they are interested in.
Lesson prices
Cancelation fee is charged for the booking being cancelled 2hrs or less before dedicated time. The price for cancelling is half of the standard booking cost.
