About Laura Morrell
Laura Morrell is a vocalist, pianist, and music educator specialising in pop vocals, harmony, and contemporary choral work. She performs regularly with the JukeVox Duo and function bands at venues including Chester Racecourse, Harrogate Convention Centre, Halifax Piece Hall, and Peckforton Castle, bringing polished vocals and rich harmonies to live events across the UK.
With a strong choral and ensemble background, Laura has sung with groups such as the Halle Choir, Adelphi Choir, La Jolla Symphony Chorus, and the vocal ensemble Mink Pack. Her work centres on tight vocal blends, layered harmonies, and stylistically authentic pop arrangements. She also works internationally as a session singer, recording lead vocals, harmonies, and bespoke four-part choral teach tracks, and publishes original pop and contemporary choral arrangements via SheetMusicPlus.
Alongside performing, Laura is a respected pop vocal coach and harmony specialist. She taught at the Leeds Junior Conservatoire from 2017–2023 and now runs a busy private studio focused on pop technique, harmony singing, and musicianship. She is the founder and director of the Retrophonix Pop Choir and leads the SingPOP Workshop, supporting singers to develop confidence, blend, and stylistic versatility.
Laura holds a First-Class BA (Hons) in Music, a PGCE with QTS, and is currently completing a Masters in Vocal Pedagogy with the Voice Study Centre and University of Essex.
