About Jennifer Ruth-Adams
I gained a Bachelor of Music from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Vocal and Opera studies, followed by a Masters degree in Musical Theatre. I have a wide range of knowledge and experience from running group singing and drama workshops to one on one tuition.
My approach is tailored to each individual student and therefore teach people of all ages and experience levels. I work with students on vocal technique across genres including Classical/Opera, Musical Theatre, Pop, Folk and Rock. I also like to focus on interpretation and style to help create a rounded performer.
It’s my aim to help you create the sound you want.
Music Qualifications & Achievements:
- I started teaching singing because I have a passion for singing technique, you could call me a vocal nerd! I have a strong ear for hearing technical faults in the voice and I really enjoy working with the student to find ways to solve them
- I am also a professional performer so I bring my experience of the industry to each lesson. Recent performances include the female lead in Tick, tick…BOOM! the musical and singing on the main stage at the Wales Millennium Center with John Owen Jones and Kerry Ellis
- I received a first-class Masters degree in Musical Theatre and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal and Opera Studies from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama
