About James Rawson
I’m a friendly and enthusiastic teacher with a focus on fun and rewarding lessons in all styles.
I’ve taught drums professionally since 2006 and I now teach from my home studio as well as in three local schools as well as Solihull Music Service. Due to my school work, I hold enhanced DBS certification and have regular training in in all kinds of teaching techniques as well as safeguarding and child protection.
I have vast experience in Rockschool graded exams, teaching everything from Debut to Grade 8 with a 100% pass rate.
Qualifications:
RSL Grade 8 Drums – Distinction, BTEC National Diploma In Popular Music, Associated Board Grade 5 Theory of Music
