About

About

I am an enthusiastic York based drum tutor and graduate from Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA), with a First-Class Honours degree in Music. I have been teaching the drums for six years and am looking for new students who are interested and willing to develop new skills and learn a new instrument.

I’m available for 1-2-1 drum lessons either in-person or online via Skype/Zoom. For my online lessons, I will be set up with a high-quality camera, a miked drum kit, and a vocal microphone for the best experience possible.

Within lessons, we can dive into any different aspect of drumming you would like, whether this is grooves, fills, different styles or production techniques. I enjoy tailoring every lesson to the individual student.

In addition, I am also a qualified, HCPC registered music therapist. I am a huge advocate of expressive therapy and allowing the learning of drums to develop you not only as a musician but also as a person.
