| About |
I am a professional Portuguese singer based in Berlin. Over the past 5 years, I’ve been running my private studio in Berlin and working as a freelancer mostly across Europe. With a Master’s degree in Pedagogy, I have over 10 years of experience teaching singing. While my background is in classical training, I have also instructed students in a wide range of musical genres.
In my private studio, I frequently host meetings and mini-concerts that provide my students with the opportunity to connect and perform for one another, fostering their growth as artists. My student roster includes complete beginners as well as those who are already releasing EPs and singles. I also very often teach actors and rappers.
As a teacher, I worked in Portugal in many schools and at the age of 22, I was invited to teach at the University of Évora the discipline of Voice II in the Theater Course of the Department of Performing Arts. Since I moved to England and then Germany I’ve been teaching only privately.
I sang a lot of opera roles as Juliet Brook and Sophie Brook (The Little Sweep by B. Britten), Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro by W. A. Mozart), Papagena (Die Zauberflöte by W.A. Mozart), Dido (Dido and Aeneas by H.Purcell), Amore (Orfeo Ed Euridice by C. W. Glück), Cleopatra (Giulio Cesare by Handel) and Madame Herz (Der Schauspieldirektor by Mozart).
At the moment, I sing regularly as soloist with the Berliner Schloss Konzerte, the im Frauenland Ensemble and with the Portuguese guitarrist Márcio Silva.
I worked privately with Marie Vassiliou who is currently a Professor of the vocal faculties of both the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and the Royal Academy of Music and I’m currently working with Abbie Furmansky.
