About

About

I have a vast array of musical experience across different instruments as well as musical theory, composition and analysis. While I’m not a professional level performer on all the instruments I play, I’m a constant learner myself and put this  at the heart of my teaching.

I like to make learning fun and enjoyable and try to be as flexible as I can be with what I teach. I tend to anchor my teaching around the RSL or ABRSM grade structures, but students always have a choice as to whether they want to pursue grades or not. I am also happy to work outside of the syllabus, just let me know what piece you’d like to work on and I’ll do my best to support you!

I’m very happy to travel to you for lessons. I live in a terraced house, so it can be tricky to teach at home with a five year old running around, but if you need to come to me, let me know and I’m sure we can sort something out.
