Freya Moult ATCL – BiographyFreya is a semi-professional cellist based in Mansfield, East Midlands. Freya passed her Grades 1-8 on cello with distinctions and ATCL Performance Diploma on cello with a high Distinction in 2022. She has achieved the same results on piano gaining her Grades 1-8.She has 14+yrs musical experience enabling a diverse musical influence for her students using unique techniques that are tailored to the individual’s needs. Having had private lessons with Sarah Huson-Whyte and consultation lessons with eminent cellists such as Matthew Barley, Hannah Roberts, Matthew Sharp and Dale Cullingford. These influential people have all given her the drive to continually strive to develop her own musical knowledge base and ability giving her the talent and inspiration to give to the next generation of musical individuals. She also attends workshops, consultation lessons, experience days and orchestras to keep up to press with new techniques and to expand her knowledge in order to extend the experience onto her own students. Currently progressing with her Performance Diplomas on both instruments intending to take her LTCL Diploma in 2025 and ATCL on piano as well. Freya is also a 5th year student with the Open University studying a BA (Hons) Arts and Humanities specialising in Music and Classical Studies.Musical achievements past and present…• ‘Stringwise’ with ‘Music for Everyone’ 2010 – 2014.• Nottingham Youth Training Orchestra 2011.• East Midlands Youth String Orchestra 2013.• Music workshops (one of which was with world-renowned Cellist Matthew Barley).• Experience days with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and The National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.• Freya had the opportunity to share her music (cello, piano and acoustic guitar) with care homes and special needs groups throughout Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire with Musical Moments 2018 – 2020.• Winner of Mansfield Music and Drama Festival. Where she won the Junior John Ogden award 2019.• Consultation lessons with professional cellist Matthew Sharpe 2019.• Member of The Hallé Youth Orchestra 2019.• Alexander Technique consultations with Dale Cullingford (cellist with The Hallé Orchestra).• Mansfield Music and Drama Festival. Winner of Senior John Ogden award 2021.• Audition with the Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra in December 2022.• Furthering her development on piano she is to take her ATCL Performance Diploma and LTCL Performance Diploma on cello in 2026.

The terms set on cancellation of the entire offer, or how one-off cancellations will be handled. Please note that all offers are subject to a 14 day cooling-off period, starting on the date of purchase. Within this period, all students have the right to cancel the offer and receive a full refund, unless they attend a lesson. In which case, the cooling off period ends.

If a student decides to cancel a lesson in the offer:

Make up lessons will be offered. A notice period of 2 days is required ahead of cancellation.

If a student decides to cancel an entire offer:

No refunds will be possible once the offer is paid and the cooling off period ends.
