Ellie

I am a professional vocalist and vocal coach with over five years of teaching experience, working with students from age 5 through to adults of all ages and abilities. I specialise in pop, rock, jazz, soul and musical theatre – teaching everything from beginners to advanced performers.

My lessons focus on developing healthy, sustainable vocal technique while building confidence and helping each student work towards their own goals. I am trained in Estill Vocal Technique, which I use to break down vocal technique into clear, practical and accessible concepts.

I have extensive experience preparing students for Rockschool Vocal exams from Debut to Grade 8, as well as supporting students with performance development; auditions and repertoire.

I hold a First Class Honours degree in Popular Music and Recording and a Certificate in Estill Vocal Technique. I am currently studying for a Master’s in Music at the University of Manchester.

I am passionate about making music lessons enjoyable, encouraging and inclusive, and tailor my teaching to suit each individual student’s needs, interests and goals. I have taken training and hold a certificate in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in the Classroom to help me understand and tailor my teaching to varied needs.
