Eliette Harris

I am a professional violinist with extensive performance experience across major UK orchestras and prestigious venues in the UK and Europe. I have been awarded multiple soloist prizes and was a scholarship holder at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. These experiences have shaped my artistry and inform my teaching, allowing me to combine professional-level insight with a personal approach.

I offer one-to-one online violin lessons for students of all ages and abilities, from beginners taking their first steps on the instrument to advanced performers preparing for exams, auditions, or conservatoire entry. My teaching focuses on building technical precision, musical sensitivity, and performance confidence, ensuring that every one of my students develops as a well-rounded and expressive musician.

My approach balances structure with creativity. I believe in a strong technical foundation from the very beginning of my student’s trajectory, to support and enable their musical intuition. I also provide guidance for musicians preparing for high-level performances, competitions, or ensemble work.

With training at leading conservatoires and years of performance experience, I bring both professional expertise and practical insight to every lesson. I am deeply committed to each student’s growth and take pride in guiding them to achieve their musical ambitions. One’s relationship with music is lifelong and my position as a teacher is to nurture a student’s inherent artistry and creative path.
