I studied Jazz Guitar in Bern Switzerland, and after recieving a Bachelors degree I went travelling, acquiring many different styles of music, predominantly Gypsy Jazz and music from the Balkans (trad. Folk).

I love to teach my own approach to the Instrument, which is inspired by the different techniques I have encountered but also a path of discovering my own ears-body-instrument relation, through more physical exercises such as suggested by M. Feldenkrais or the Alexander Technique.

My approach to teaching western music theory is grounded in ear training and understanding harmony through melody. I use music as a language to communicate with my students, so a lot will happen using the ears, which can be challenging, but makes sure you are learning the essence of it, which is after all, the music, the vibrations in the air.
