In my earliest time as a music teacher, I helped to set up and run the Brentwood Guitar Studio before moving to Colchester several years ago.

Since my early years, I have taught music at the University of Essex as well as teaching privately. Amongst my private students, I have taught Paul Allender, of The Blood Divine and, later, of Cradle of Filth – as well as numerous other students from beginners upwards.

I specialise in teaching rock, classical and folk styles of music. Where examinations are required, classical music grades can be taught through the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). I can also offer bass guitar tuition and am fully DBS Checked.

My lessons are one on one and fully built around your needs as a guitar student.

I am a mobile teacher, meaning that I will travel to your home for lessons – enabling you to learn in the comfort of your own home. However, as a result, students need to live in or close to Colchester.
