Charlotte House

Charlie House is an accomplished singer-songwriter and vocal coach with over 20 years of experience in the music industry and more than 10 years of teaching expertise. Her tracks have been featured on BBC Introducing and major radio stations across the UK & Worldwide. As a professional artist in her own right, she has worked extensively as a songwriter and A&R executive, collaborating with some of the finest musicians and producers in the industry. Her original songs have been nominated for awards and led to a record deal with Warner ADA/BMG/Chrysalis.

Charlie is the winning recipient of the prestigious Steve Balsamo Scholarship Award, which was instrumental in qualifying her as a vocal coach. In addition to her extensive music industry experience, she also has a strong background in performing arts, enriching her teaching with a dynamic and well-rounded perspective.

She has trained in musical theatre with Rachel Tucker, renowned for her role as Elphaba in Wicked, and received professional coaching with Kelle Bryan, former member of the R&B girl group Eternal and a leading music industry expert. These experiences have equipped her to teach a wide range of styles, from contemporary vocals to musical theatre.

Charlie has a proven track record of success as a vocal coach. Her students include Mikey Demus, guitarist for the internationally acclaimed rock band Skindred, and Sonny Monaghan who recently went on to play the lead role Evan in the touring company of Dear Evan Hansen.

Her lessons are tailored to meet each student’s unique interests, learning style, and pace. Charlie provides guidance in vocal technique, confidence building, audition preparation, and songwriting, while also offering valuable industry insights and connections to help students advance their careers.
