About Cass Wood
Cass Wood has been part of the music and entertainment industry for over three decades, bringing a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion to her teaching. Her love for mentoring young musicians stems from her own lifelong journey in music, from performing to songwriting, and she is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of artists.
With an acoustic style influenced by folk, pop, and musical theatre, Cass draws inspiration from legendary icons such as Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell, and Bob Dylan, alongside contemporary artists like Noah Kahan and Gracie Abrams and Taylor Swift. Her wide-ranging influences give her a unique ability to connect with students across different genres and help them explore their own artistic voices.
Cass thrives on experimenting with new sounds and styles, encouragingcreativity and self-expression in every lesson. She finds immense joy in guiding students as they grow in confidence and skill, and she takes pride in creating a supportive environment where each young musician can discover their potential and share in the same love of music that has shaped her own life.
