Nate Bomans

Currently a member of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra’s 1st violin section and with years of experience playing in professional orchestras around the world, I have a deep understanding of the necessities and discipline required to learn the violin. Having earned two degrees in music performance and working as a professional orchestral musician, I have had the privilege of studying under world-class teachers and playing with some of the world’s leading soloists and conductors for my entire adult life. These experiences have given me a well-rounded knowledge of all the aspects of learning the violin, from the technical side to the artistic.

Learning an instrument has the ability to teach you many other skills that are beneficial in all other aspects of life, from concentration, to critical thinking, to self-expression and confidence. My teaching approach is based on these experiences — combining solid technique, thoughtful interpretation, and a genuine passion for music.
