About Annemike du Toit

I believe music is more than just learning notes and techniques—it has the power to inspire, connect and transform lives, and that is exactly why I love teaching.

As a professional musician, singer, and vocal coach with over 30 years of performance and 10 years teaching experience, I am passionate about helping students discover their unique musical voice and use their gifts to make a positive impact in the world through music.

Instruments: My primary instruments are Acoustic, Electric, and Classical Guitar, and I work with students of all ages and skill levels—from complete beginners to developing performers. In addition to guitar, I also teach Piano, Ukulele, and Bass Guitar.

Vocal Coaching: As a qualified vocal coach trained in Speech Level Singing techniques, I help singers develop healthy vocal habits, improve their confidence, expand their vocal range, and sing with freedom and expression.

My teaching approach is warm, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s goals. Whether you dream of performing on stage, leading worship, writing your own songs, preparing for exams, or simply enjoying music as a hobby, I strive to create a positive learning environment where growth, creativity, and a love for music can flourish.
