About Amy Gallagher

I’m Amy, a dedicated singing teacher and piano teacher in Liverpool, offering fun, engaging, and personalised music lessons for all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner looking for your first lesson or an experienced singer aiming to refine your vocal technique, I provide expert guidance tailored to your needs.

With a background in acting, music, and directing, my approach goes beyond the voice. I combine vocal technique, understanding of genre and emotional connection to ensure that your performance is well rounded. My goal is to make learning music accessible and enjoyable, whether you’re interested in classical piano, pop singing, or preparing for graded exams and auditions.

My training includes the Singing Teacher Accreditation with the Vocal Process Ltd., where I was trained in physiology and anatomy, resonance, M1/M2, genre specific training, acting through song and how to diagnose individual voices to develop a client led, bespoke training. As part of my CPD, I am a registered teacher with the Vocal Process meaning that I have continued training sessions and support from my mentors to ensure that I am up to date with current research and practice. I am also trained in Da Capo Solfa through Smile My Music, I use this everyday with my beginner singers up to professional actors to train them in harmony, music theory, interval training and improvisation.

As a registered singing teacher with Vocal Process Ltd, I bring industry recognised expertise to every session. My singing and piano lessons in Liverpool are designed to be supportive and interactive, helping students of all ages unlock their musical potential.

Many of my students have been highly successful in Rock School Examinations with all of them achieving a merit or higher. Music with Amy students also benefit from performance opportunities as part of my annual Celebration Concert, I hold one for my singers and another one for my pianists. This gives my students a chance to perform in front of their family and friends to demonstrate their progress over the past year. My private students also take part in a joint song with the Liverpool Irish Choir, meaning they experience not only solo performance, but also how to perform as an ensemble.
