Alex Holmes

Hello!

I am a singer, songwriter and pianist with a BMus Popular Music degree from Goldsmiths College, University of London. I have been teaching for 17 years.

I work as a vocalist and songwriter and have featured on records alongside Grammy Award winners Pitbull and Sean Paul. I work closely with labels such as Universal Music, Sony Music, and Black Hole Recordings.

My music has reached #1 on Beatport and iTunes, been used in Motorola adverts, Netflix series Locke & Key, and gained over 100 million streams. As well as being endorsed by the biggest names in Dance music, and featured on thousands of playlists.

As a performer, I have played at prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall and The Troubadour Club London, and have played at a number of music festivals including Glastonbury.

I have run my own Pop Choirs and Stage School, and have been teaching singing (including Pop and Musical Theatre), songwriting, piano and music theory for 17 years. I also offer industry and career guidance sessions.

My students have gone on to perform in West End shows, attend the likes of Sylvia Young and East 15, gain music scholarships and work with major corporations and TV channels on shows and adverts.
