About

About

Hello, I’m Amy — a highly qualified and experienced vocal coach and professional performer with over 15 years in the music industry. I hold a degree in Professional Musicianship (Vocals) from BIMM Bristol and bring a wealth of real-world experience to my teaching, with a background that includes cruise ship performances, studio session work, musical theatre, and festival stages such as Glastonbury. I’ve worked as the Assistant Musical Director for Bristol’s Bass Choir, currently lead the Bristol Rock Centre Choir, and remain actively involved in the UK music scene. I offer tailored vocal tuition for all ages and abilities — from beginners to advanced singers — with a focus on building vocal technique, confidence, and performance skills across a wide range of styles including pop, rock, indie, soul, R&B, and jazz. Whether you’re singing for enjoyment, preparing for performances or auditions, or pursuing a professional path in music, I create engaging, supportive lessons to suit your individual goals. I also provide specialist coaching for Rockschool vocal grades, offering clear guidance and preparation for each level of the syllabus. Lessons are available both online and in person, with teaching spaces in Bristol and in Newport city centre. As a working musician, I offer current industry insight and professional-level training in a fun, encouraging environment — helping you discover and develop your unique voice with confidence.

Cancelation & Rescheduling Policy

Lesson payments must be made 48 hours prior to your booked lesson, otherwise your slot may be taken.

We have a 48 hour rescheduling and cancellation policy in place. This means if you do not turn up to your lesson, online or in person, it cannot be refunded or moved, it counts as a missed lesson. If you need to move/cancel your lesson, we require 48 hours notice. Payments will be carried over to your next lesson in line with these policies.

If the student is over 15 minutes late for a lesson online, and we have not received an email/call letting us know they will be late, we will log off after this amount of time and it will count as a missed lesson. If the student is late, the lesson will end at the time we have booked. This is because we will have lessons with other students booked in around your time slot.

We hope you all understand this is to protect us and our time as self-employed teachers. If you have any issues with attending a lesson, please send an Email as soon as you are aware, as we may be able to relax these policies depending on the circumstances and our availability.
