With more than 15 years of piano experience and eight years of teaching, I’ve worked with students aged 3 to 60+, from complete beginners to advanced players preparing for diplomas. I teach in a wide range of styles—including classical, jazz, and popular music—and always strive to make lessons enjoyable, creative, and rewarding. Juan Rezzuto is a dedicated and experienced piano teacher, with a passion for helping students of all ages and abilities unlock their full musical potential. He holds a degree in Music Composition from the renowned Catholic University of Argentina and has been teaching piano in London since 2011 through his studio. Juan's teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that music is a complex language that needs to be taught in a comprehensive and integrated way. I have started my BMus (Hons) Performance (piano) degree at the Royal College of Music in September. I have had some experience in teaching piano and cello previously, mainly non-official teaching for my family and friends. I would like to expand this as a career and work with other students as well. I have been a principal cellist for two years in secondary school, as well as a soprano section leader for one year, which has helped me in enhanced my skills in coaching. I have experience in not necessarily teaching young children, but working with them. I believe I am able to work with young children as well as in music teaching. I have also completed my ABRSM Grade 8 theory examination with merit. I will be able to teach the theory of grades 1-5. Furthermore, I have achieved “Distinction” in my dipABRSM piano examination, as well as “Merit” in my ABRSM cello examination. I believe that I would be able to work with aspiring pianists and cellists in a wide range of age groups and help them explore music in a fun way. Music Qualifications & Achievements: Having developed a strong passion for music since a young age, Hilary has engaged in music activities extensively, performing in various venues, including Hong Kong, Italy, the USA and more. She started taking piano lessons at the age of six and later on engaged in activities of other music disciplines. Apart from playing as a solo pianist, she has engaged in playing as an accompanist, in piano duets, ensembles and chamber music. Determined to broaden her horizons and have the opportunity to exchange thoughts of music with different people, she has played in many masterclasses and participated in music festivals, allowing her to enrich her musical knowledge and perspective on music. Over the years, she has been participating in a diverse range of competitions. She has participated in different competition classes in the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival competition, including piano solos and duets, for more than 10 years, having been awarded first place in piano solo and third place in a piano duet. At the same time, she has participated in a variety of international music competitions. For instance, she has joined in the piano solo category of the Osaka International Music Competition – Hong Kong Semi-finals in August 2019, being awarded second place and the qualification to participate in the final rounds, which took place in Osaka in October the same year. Competitions have helped her gained a lot of inspiration in expressing music and also in the aspect of strengthening her musicianship.

Personally, I prefer f2f lesson than online but would also be flexible so that a mixed mode of learning becomes possible. We are in KT17 and W3 and our home studio accommodates good grand piano so does our converted garage. Two of my students also passed with Grade 8 high distinction early this year at the age of 8. Further 10 students obtained their grade 8 in 2024 ranging from 11-18 But we could also play for leisure. It is all about communication. Please let me know what level/grade s/he is doing. Whatever your aspirations at the piano, I can show you how to reach them! I specialise in accompanying classical singers and recently graduated from the National Opera Studio in London. As a freelance accompanist I work with organistations such as Opera North and The Slaithwaite Philharmonic Orchestra. I started learning the piano aged 7 after being inspired by the 'magic box' in the corner that my mum played. I went on to study at Oxford and Yale universities and the Royal Northern College of Music and have performed in many exciting venues across the UK including the Brighton Dome, Wigmore Hall, Bridgewater Hall Manchester, Cadogan Hall, Wales Millennium Centre and Symphony Hall Birmingham. I hold associate and licentiate diplomas in piano performance and have taught privately for 14 years as well as in Schools across South London. Although I take a strictly optional approach to exams, I have knowledge of the ABRSM syllabus and my students have received merit and distinction awards in ABRSM exams. I teach my students to understand three key areas of great piano playing: technique, understanding the score and expression. Technically I will introduce you to a Russian tradition of piano playing to develop strong fingertips supported by the wrist and arm for fluency and beauty. From beginner to advanced levels I will teach you how to understand how the 'recipe' in music is put together to you can feel confident that you understand deeply what to play. Throughout everything I will focus on expression, the stories and emotions in the music that make it so thrilling. In a typical lesson you can expect to look at some physical 'workouts' to develop your technique before working on your favourite pieces of music to understand how its put together and how to find expression. My philosophy is to use the lesson to teach how to practice on your own during the week so you can really own what you're doing. I believe in being kind, patient and supportive, giving you the keys to unlock your own musicality. Hi, my name is Robert! I am a conductor, singer, composer and teacher based in London. I started learning piano when I was 3 years old and studied at Junior Guildhall until the age of 8. I then sang as a chorister in the choir of New College, Oxford, where I also began to play the cello. During my teens, I reached grade 8 at the piano and cello, and achieved a Diploma in singing performance. At the University of Manchester, I began to study conducting, eventually directing the University chamber choir, Ad Solem, before graduating with first class honours. During this time I also sang in the Genesis Sixteen choral program, which offered intensive training for elite young choral singers led by The Sixteen. I have been teaching singing, piano, cello and conducting privately ever since graduating, as well as directing several choirs and ensembles. I work frequently for the National Youth Choirs, London Youth Choirs, and Nottingham Youth Orchestra, and am currently employed as a teacher in the Royal College of Music Junior Department. I can offer singing and conducting tuition at all standards, and piano and cello up to grade 6.
