I come from Hong Kong, I speak native Cantonese, and fluent English, and Mandarin/Putonghua. I have 2-3 years of teaching experience. From 2013/14 to the first semester of 2018/19, I studied at HKAPA (The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts) and attended the MJ101 Junior Music Course at the age of 9-13 and was majoring in the cello. I achieved many music prizes in Hong Kong when I participated in the orchestra at school and the ensembles at HKAPA as a cellist, including Joint School Music Association Symphony Orchestra Competition, 71st Hong Kong Schools Music Festival String Orchestra Competition, Hong Kong Youth Music Interflows Symphony Orchestra Contest, and Hong Kong Youth Music Interflows String Orchestra Contest. I am a cellist and recently studied at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) before moving to the UK. During my time in Hong Kong I was an active member of multiple orchestras that won numerous awards including Joint School Music Association Symphony Orchestra Competition, 71st Hong Kong Schools Music Festival String Orchestra Competition, Hong Kong Youth Music Interflows Symphony Orchestra Contest, and Hong Kong Youth Music Interflows String Orchestra Contest.
