I love a wide range of genres and because of this I will always make sure you learn the music that you love & the genres that inspire you.
I currently teach a wide range of different ages. I would recommend starting no younger than age 5 though.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I welcome both beginner and advanced players to take my lessons in all genres and styles.
I'm able to teach beginners
I am an experienced player who has been playing for as long as I can remember. I also regularly perform and will use this experience to help you build confidence in your playing.
I am a qualified teacher who has achieved Bachelor of Music 2/1(RNCM + RWCMD) & Postgraduate Diploma in Violin Performance(RNCM).
I completed my studies in 2007 at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and have an experience for over a decade in teaching the violin at all levels. I am also the leader of the award-winning Northern String Quartet.
I'm also able to teach young learners
I pride myself on making sure my lessons are of the highest quality and enjoyable for all my students. I believe that when you enjoy learning you will always make better progress.
I will build my lessons around music that you love and are familiar with. I like to make sure we always move forward in a familiar direction. My lesson plan will always reflect the styles and the music that you love & enjoy.

Music venues in the Rochdale area
Rochdale has a few options when it comes to live music. Here are the ones I would recommend.
Empire Rochdale is probably the most well known and established venue in the area. They usually have a wide range of events throughout the week. You can find them on 7 Packer St, Rochdale OL16 1NJ.
Wellfield Working Mans Club is another place that regularly hosts live music in the area. Although it is an older crowd, they regularly have live events. You can find them on 1 Prince St, Rochdale OL16 5LL.
I'm an experienced player and teacher who can help guide you in any direction you want to learn in. My attention to technique and detail will make sure you end up a great player provided you practice and put enough time into learning. For more information, feel free to send me and email.

If you travel to me, my lessons are charged at £25 per hour. If I travel to you, prices can vary depending on distance.
I teach the majority of my lessons from my home teaching space on Dellar Street in Rochdale, OL12 7AN. I am also able to travel to your place for the lessons.
I teach both young learners (5+) & adults in all styles and genres.
If you are serious about learning, then weekly or fortnightly lessons are the best option.
Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will still be charged full price.
