I am a passionate music lover and I hope that this reflects in the lessons I have with my students. It is my goal to help share this passion that I have with others and I feel that it is such a rewarding job to do. I mostly teach classical but can go into other styles and genres if this is something you are interested in.
I have a wide range of experience when it comes to teaching all ages so any student from the ages of 7+ are welcome to take lessons with me. I have studied and taught music in the UK, France and Portugal so I have a wide range of knowledge and the ability to work with any student from any walk of life.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I'm able to teach both beginners and advanced students in a wide range of genres and styles.
I am a fully qualified teacher and have played and taught music in the UK for many years. I can teach students of all ages in a wide range of styles and genres. I can also teach both young learners and adults.
My lessons are easy to follow and we will always work in a direction that you feel comfortable with as a learner.
My lessons can help to prepare students for music education and aural exams. For many years I have been composing musical arrangements of classical pieces and songs: adapting each piece to suit the style of the individual student I am working with.
During my time as a performer and a player, I've learned a wide range of valuable techniques and playing styles that I like to use to help my students improve all areas of their playing. I want you to not only improve at playing the Violin but I want to help you grow and develop as an all round musician too.
My lessons are always built around my students and I like to make sure they learn the music and styles that they are interested in. I find that this is a great way to help keep my student motivated and driven when overcoming challenges we all face when learning an instrument.
As I am a mobile teacher this means that I am more than happy to travel to the home of my students for the lessons anywhere in and around the Hemel Hempstead area subject to my availability and location. Most students tend to take a one hour lesson with me each week and I find this yields the most steady and consistent progress.
Hemel Hempstead is only a small town so options when it comes to music shops can be quite limited. Here are the couple of shops we do have available in the area.
Chiltern Pianos is the best option if you happen to be a piano player. They have a wide range of both new and used pianos as well as a good collection of sheet music. You can find the shop at 88 High St, Bovingdon, Hemel Hempstead HP3 0HN.
British Heart Foundation, although not a music store as such, they often have a few second-hand instruments available at stealable prices. Make sure to check from time to time. You can find them on 214 Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead HP1 1BH.
I'm a highly experienced violinist who can help you improve your playing in no time at all. My lessons are built around what you want to achieve as a player and learner. I have a high attention to detail and will help you pick up good playing habits. For more information, feel free to email me at any time.
[email protected]My lessons are charged at £15 per half hour and £25 per hour for all.
I am a mobile teacher, so I am able to travel to you to teach the lessons (subject to my availability and your location). For more information about my mobile lessons simply get in touch.

Weekly or fortnightly lessons are the best way to improve your playing and understanding in a short space of time but you can take the lessons as and when it suits you.
