Welcome to
Hallo, my name is Inês Pinto and I am a professional singing teacher based in Berlin, Germany. I offer lessons to all students of any age or ability and also provide online lessons for students based in the UK.
I am a professional singing teacher with many years of singing and performing experience under my belt. Over the years I have worked with students from all different age groups and musical backgrounds. I take pride in offering flexible singing lessons that are tailored and adapted to meet the needs of each individual student I teach.
I believe that learning any instrument should be a fun experience and as such I will always do my best to keep our lessons relaxed and engaging. I want you to leave each of our lessons feeling excited about what you have just learnt and keen to go away and practice on it in between the lessons. I find students tend to learn best when they are in a relaxed and comfortable environment.

I think it's very important for a music teacher to be flexible at what they do so they can work with as many different students as possible. In my lessons I like to cover a wide range of musical topics that will not only focus on improving your ability as a technical singer, but will also help you grow and develop as an all round musician as well.
The lessons I provide are suitable for any learner starting as low as 4+. I feel it's never really too early or too late to start learning a new instrument and I think that it's something that anybody can do with the right training and guidance. I understand that children learn differently to adults so I will always tailor and adapt my lesson material and teaching style to suit that student.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I am happy to teach students of any skill level. Both beginner and advanced students are welcome to take lessons with me.
I am a portuguese light soprano post graduate student at the University of Évora, Portugal. As a teacher I have worked in many schools across Portugal. I have worked as a singing teacher in the Classic Art Piano Academy in Lisbon and as a music teacher in the Sonata- Association Sonata Alentejo, Évora. Around the age of 22, I was invited to teach at the University of Évora, the discipline of Voice II in the Theater Course of the Department of Performing Arts.
Alongside my time spent working in various schools across Portugal, I was also offering private lessons to students at my own home. I had a partnership with some of the choirs of Oporto and I also helped here as a singing coach. The choirs I taught were the Female Choir of Paredes, Female Choir Conservatory of Vale do Sousa and Vocal Art Ensemble. Here I was able to work with many different students and helped them to discover and develop their singing voice.
In the different productions and choirs I have been a part of, I have been fortunate enough to work with some highly renowned conductors such as Nils Schweckendiek, Paulo Lourenço, Christopher Bochmann, Pedro Teixeira, Owen Rees, Armando Possante, Peter Philipps, João Branco, Luis Antonio González Marín, Kodo Yamagishi, Ian Mikirtumov, Cesário Costa, Pedro Amaral and many many more. The wealth of information and experience I gained working with these has proven invaluable and I am now ready to pass this on to my students.
Around the age of 24 I sang a lot of opera roles such as Juliet Brook and Sophie Brook (The Little Sweep by B. Britten), Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro by W. A. Mozart), Papagena (Die Zauberflöte by W.A. Mozart), Dido (Dido and Aeneas by H.Purcell), Amore (Orfeo Ed Euridice by C. W. Glück) and Cleopatra (Giulio Cesare by Handel).
In my lessons I call upon the many years of real world experience that I have both as a singer and as a teacher to allow me to provide detailed and thorough singing lessons that are appropriate for anyone. I work really hard to ensure my lessons are varied and can cover a huge list of techniques right from beginner all the way through to advanced singing techniques.
The lessons I provide will teach you how to establish good fundamentals, such as having a good warm up routine which can help prevent damage to your voice and can help you sing well for many years to come. We will also study correct breathing techniques, word annunciation and how to project your voice as well as all the other topics and skills needed to help you become the singer you've always wanted to be.
Many people often ask where can they find the needed equipment to start singing, such as Microphones and PA's etc. Below is a list of local stores you can try for all your instrument needs.

MIB Guitars, is located Martin-Luther-Str. 58, 10779 Berlin, Germany and is primarily a guitar store. However they do also sell things you would need if you wanted to record vocals. These are things such as Recording Interfaces, Mics and Cables, Pop Shields etc all for great prices.
