Hello! I'm Russel, a professional Singing teacher based in Salt Lake City. I offer students of all ages the chance to unlock their voice and potential.
I will make every lesson personalised to your tastes and musical preferences to make sure you always go away a happy student. Each lesson is individually tailored to my students learning requirements, creating courses of lessons to help students develop their vocal strength, ability and overall confidence.
I will help you unlock your potential through learning the correct technique as well as working on your range and tone. This approach focuses on maintaining good vocal health, to avoid straining or overworking your voice as you develop it over time.

I am a music lover and this reflects in my teaching style. I will always teach you a wide range of genres and styles from classical to country and any other genre in between.
I teach a wide range of ages however, I would recommend starting no younger than 5 years old.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I welcome both beginner and advanced students in a wide range of genres and styles. I will always teach to your ability level.

I've been teaching singers of all ages and abilities for as long as I can remember. I have taught students of all ages in different envrionments for many years now.
I come from a musical background and regularly perform all over the state as well as teaching students. I have gained a Degree in popular music and can't wait to share my knowledge with you.
I love to help my students build confidence and I feel that because I've been performing for so long, this is something that can really help my students.
I like to make sure my lessons are always enjoyable.
I feel it is important that we incorporate the artists and bands that you love into our lessons. This will ensure that the lessons are always enjoyable & will make sure we really get the most out of your playing.
One of the things I like to focus on with each student is to help them understand both the anatomy and health of their vocal instrument while helping them tap into their very best sound in an engaging and fun way.
I value honesty, discipline and detail work in the singing studio. I find those three things, meshed always with a genuine sense of fun and playfulness, are key to helping singers unlock and develop what makes them unique singers and artists with something gorgeous to say.

Every singer has their own beautiful strengths as well as occasional stumbling blocks. It is my passion to help them identify those, understand them and then move blast through them. Singers are complex people with complex instruments, and no matter what our expertise level, the DESIRE to sing is something to be protected and nurtured.

My lessons are charged at $15 per half hour and $30 per hour for all students.
I currently take the majority of my lessons from my home teaching studio in the South Salt Lake area of the city.
I teach both adults and children ages 5 and above.
In my opinion, weekly lessons are one fo the best ways to improve your vocals. Some of my students also take fortnightly lessons.
Lessons cancelled with less than 48 horus notice wil still be charged full price.
