My Experience as a Teacher

I am a qualified teacher, having achieved a Higher Certificate in teaching Contemporary Singing from the Voice College, a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts and 20 years performing experience, having spent the last 5 years performing my solo Musical Theatre and Classical Crossover show onboard Cunards -Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria cruise liners plus performing my show onboard the entire P&O cruise line fleet.

I always aims to make lessons fun, yet informative. Helping the students feel at ease no matter how experienced a singer they may be. I have performed a lot on stage and in musicals and I often coach students not only on their vocals but also stage presence and performance, preparing them for auditions and shows.

My lessons will always be built in a direction that you feel comfortable learning in and we will always work towards your goals and towards the music that you love.

Music Box, a family run small business since the 1990s, The Music Box still uses the friendly, old school approach to a music store. The staff here are experienced and very happy to talk through your needs and how they can help you. They stock a variety of musical instruments such as guitars and woodwind, alongside music and songbooks to help increase your learning. Rockem Music, located on The Old Chapel, Canklow Rd, Rotherham S60 2JB. Rockem music is a fantastic local music shop for musicians and singers alike. Alongside stocking a variety of Guitar, Drum and Woodwind instruments, Rockem Music stock pro audio equipment for vocalists. If you want improve your skills rapidly, I would recommend weekly singing lessons. However, it is always up tp you how often you would like to attend singing lessons - some students enjoy fortnightly lessons.

What happens if I have to cancel a lesson?

Please note Singing Lessons Rotherham operated 48-hour cancellation policy. Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged full price.
