Although my main area of expertise lies within popular music, I also have experience singing and teaching in a wide range of styles such as Soul/Jazz, Theatre and Contemporary music.
Over the years I have worked with many different students from all walks of life (aged 8+) and together we have studied and developed techniques that have allowed them to grow and develop into the singer they have always wanted to be.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I learnt to sing in my teenage years and have been singing for over 20+ years singing both solo and in choirs. This has given me a huge broad spectrum of performance experience which I am now ready to share with others.
I have been singing for as long as I can remember. I attended music college and have been performing for the best part of 20 years. This experience is something that I love to pass onto my students.
I love to perform as often as I can. I have performed all over the UK as well as in parts of Europe. I really believe my performance experience can help inspire students to perform as well as step outside their comfort zone.
These years of experience allow me to tailor my lesson plans to the needs of that specific student. I like to ensure we are always studying artists and songs that you enjoy to listen to, to help motivate in the lessons and allow for growth and development.
To be successful in Singing, technique is absolutely crucial to ensure you can not only sound good, but to protect your voice over a long period of time to save your voice for years to come. Improper technique can be very damaging to your voice and vocal chords.
I will introduce you to the bel canto technique which not only teaches you how to project your voice properly but also helps train you in using your body efficiently and effectively while singing. Breath management is also something we can cover in the sessions.
For me, one of the most important aspects is to enjoy the journey when learning to sing. I take pride in providing informative but relaxed singing lessons so that you can feel comfortable and together we can explore and study the songs you love and have always wanted to sing.
Unfortunately, there are very few if any music stores located directly in Lutterworth. Instead I would recommend venturing nearby in to Coventry.
Express Music, located on 196-204 Binley Rd, Coventry CV3 1HG is one of the best shops available nearby and provides a wide range of instruments and equipment such as mics and PAs etc.
Noise Works, is located 82 Far Gosford St, Coventry CV1 5DZ. If you happen to be a musician who plays the guitar as well as sings then this is a great guitar shop you can try to pick up a new guitar.
Musical Instrument Sales, is another great all-round music store which can be found at The Apex, 2 Sheriffs Orchard, Coventry CV1 3PP. This is a great place to pick up good second-hand instruments like Microphones and Vocal Effects as well as a wide range of musical equipment for all abilities of musician.
I am a passionate and professional singing teacher who takes pride in offering fun and relaxed lessons to anyone who's looking to discover or explore their singing voice and I love being a part of that journey.
[email protected]The lessons are £15 for half an hour or £25 for one hour lessons.
I have a home teaching space located in the LE17 4EG area. My full teaching address will be provided upon booking your first lesson.
I teach all students ages 8+.
No, you can take the lessons as frequently as you'd like. I would recommend one hour per week for the most solid consistent progress.
Any lesson cancelled within 48 hours can still be charged for, although I am always happy to reschedule cancelled lesson when possible,
Feel free to get in touch for more information on booking your first singing lesson and together we can get you to become the singer you've always dreamed of.
