I welcome students of all ages and abilities as I have been teaching beginner and intermediate student for a couple of years now always building my singing lessons according to the student's learning difficulties and their strengths.
I love music and this reflects in my teaching. Regardless of the genres you love, I will be able to teach it. I have a degree in Popular Music so this is something I have a lot of experience in and would love to share with you.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I am a friendly and helpful singing teacher and always focus on helping you to rapidly learn how to sing.
I am an experienced teacher who has a theoretical music knowledge of a grade 6 student and the musical instrument I have a predilection for is my voice, as I am a singer.
I have taken 8 years of modern singing lessons with an additional year in which I investigated in depth the basics of the Bel Canto (opera singing) and completed BA(Hons) Popular Music course with a First Class Honours at Anglia Ruskin University.
I have been tutoring young pupils and young adults for over 3 years now and, every time I teach a lesson, I like to adjust the way I teach according to the student's learning difficulties and their strengths.
One of the most important aspects of learning is to enjoy your lessons. Because of this, I will always make sure every lesson you take with me is enjoyable and informative.
We will always build the lessons around what you want to learn. I will make sure we aim towards learning the songs by artists that you love to listen too as well as listening to what you want to learn - whether it is just learning for fun or for more serious purposes, i.e. future career in the music industry.
We are lucky enough to have some great music shops in Cambridge to cater for our musical needs as singers. Indeed, many of my students are interested in finding out where they can pick up sheet music as well as performance equipment - check out the list below of local music stores to explore.

I am located in the Chesterton, CB4 area, of Cambridge. It is a great place to come to learn to sing, with all the equipment that we need for our singing lessons.
I welcome students from the ages of 7 years old and upwards to attend singing lessons. I have been working with young students and adult learners for over to 2 years.
This is completely your choice - I would recommend try and attend lessons on a weekly basis as I believe that this is the best way to improve and see some great progress in a short period of time.
That is not a big deal. All you need to do is to inform me within a 48 hour period before your lesson and we can rearrange it to another time that best suits you!
