About

I have proudly been working as a vocal coach for ten years. I have successfully helped students with school and college auditions and get professional work. My industry experience has enabled me to specialise in vocal technique, performance, audition preparation and examinations. I currently run musical theatre classes and singing classes in local performing arts academies/dance schools as well as private tuition.

I trained at the University of Derby. My qualifications include a BA (Hons) Music and Grade 8 in Popular Music Vocals and Musical Theatre from the University of West London. I have been singing professionally for ten years and have performed in various venues around the country.

During my time as a vocal coach I have led vocal, musical theatre and drama workshops at various schools and colleges. Most recently I was the musical director for Leicester Theatre Group’s lastest production of Boogie Nights. Other musical work credits include Seussical (MD-Leicester Theatre Group), Les Miserables (Vocal Coach- Leicester Theatre Group), Lift Musical (Vocal Coach- CF Theatre Company).

Sam really knows her stuff! She has only been teaching my daughter for a few months and already there is a huge difference in my daughters vocal range and tone. Not only is she a great teacher, she is fun and makes my daughter feel less anxious and safe. Thanks Sam, you are so talented!
