About

About

I am currently in my third year teaching for Glasgow City Council, providing free music lessons for children in their schools. I teach children starting at age 4 PianoSinging and Violin. My lessons are a mixture of solo, group and classroom.

I have been teaching private pupils for 10 years and they have ranged from the age of 3 to 70. If you are interested in taking exams, I have a great record of success from the ABRSM and Trinity Boards. Due to many years of experience, I am extremely adaptable to all of my pupils’ needs and styles.

I am completely passionate about teaching and passing on my skills, knowledge and love of Music and the Instrument.

Music Qualifications & Achievements:

In my early teens, I achieved Distinction marks in my ABRSM Grade 8 exams in the Piano, Violin and Singing. I was extremely fortunate to study the Piano and Violin at Chethams School of Music, Manchester. This specialist and dedicated education taught me the discipline and skills needed to become a professional musician. I then gained a Bachelor of Music with Honours from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, in 2014. There I studied Violin, Voice and Piano Skills.

After my undergraduate degree, I completed a Master of Arts in Singing at the Royal Academy of Music, London. My performances have taken me to the great venues of the UK, including the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall (London) and Royal Concert Hall of Glasgow and Edinburgh. I also enjoy travelling through Europe and China performing as a soloist and with professional ensembles.
