(All Teachers)I’ve used both at the same time as I live a fair way from the city centre and I prefer teaching from home because of costs. I had a particular problem when renting a space in the city centre as students would not give enough notice to cancel (I would still charge for the lesson) but I would still have the pay the rental fee each week upfront.

I have worked with a couple of young female students who showed similar symptoms to this – which I found much weirder than the male students that I mentioned because girls always seem much more comfortable in their head voices than guys.. In all these cases though, working on reducing constriction has helped, as I suspect that (from what I can tell) they may have been constricting to try and produce the sound. At the same time though I think it might just be a case of needing to build coordination in the muscles which control head voice; which might just be a really alien feeling for some people.
