Home! And rent is £595. Would probably work out the same as someone in a shared house renting studio space elsewhere! Was just thinking about whether to look into these stats tonight actually.

I currently have an arrangement where I trade some handy work in exchange for a barely used space in a conference centre. I’ll be moving lessons to my house when I finally own one though! Way too complicated right now!

I use to work from home when it was just me. Now I have a studio of 4 teaching rooms and 6 teachers including me! I have space in a Training facility making rent and bills cheaper! Rent £350 per month but have paid more!

Do you get your teachers to chip in?

I’ve used both at the same time as I live a fair way from the city centre and I prefer teaching from home because of costs. I had a particular problem when renting a space in the city centre as students would not give enough notice to cancel (I would still charge for the lesson) but I would still have the pay the rental fee each week upfront.

I work from home! Wearing slippers to work can’t be beat! Have rented studios in the past but it always works out cheaper to see them at your place.
