My name is Matthew Hill & I'm a professional Piano teacher based in Huddersfield. My lessons are both informative and enjoyable for all and I like to make sure we aim towards learning the music that you enjoy in your spare time.
Above all else, I pride myself on providing enjoyable lessons for my students. We will focus on all aspects of your playing but in a way that is both enjoyable and easy to understand for students of all abilities.
I like to make sure my Piano lessons are always of the highest standard for you & I teach a wide range of ages and I welcome students of all ages to learn to play the piano with me. My lessons are always built around your ability and learning level so that you feel comfortable.

I offer both hour long and half hour long lessons for students of all ages. Half hour lessons are suited more to younger learners whereas for everyone else, I would recommend a weekly lesson an hour long.
I also welcome advanced learners. If you have a specific piece of music or a specific technique you want to learn we will create a lesson plan that works best for your needs.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I welcome both beginners and more advanced students to take my lessons. I will make a lesson plan that suits your ability level.

I began my musical education at a young age, taking classical lessons from a local piano teacher in my hometown. As I got older I became intersted in a whide range of styles and genres and this is reflected in my teaching to this day.
I have a BA in music and a load of teaching experience to my name. Since graduating, I have established myself as an integral part of the Leeds music scene, performing regularly around the city. My ensembles have and continue to tour extensively around the UK.
Alongside this, I have been teaching Piano lessons for over 3 years. I use my passion for music to inspire students, helping them work towards their goals. My unique teaching style has helped many students develop at an impressive rate, allowing them to realise their musical dreams

I am a professional piano player and piano teacher based in Huddersfield. I work with students of all ages and abilities, helping them develop and achieve their musical ambitions.
I cover all of the major styles, including Classical, Pop and Jazz and understand the importance of finding what’s right for each student.

I charge £15 per half hour and £25 per hour for all students.
I'm a mobile teacher which means that I will travel to you for your lessons.
I teach students of all ages in a wide range of styles and genres.
Weekly lessons combined with plenty of practice is the best way to improve as a player.
Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will still be charged full price.
