Hello, my name is Solange Freyre, I am an experienced vocal coach with more than 24 years of experience in Performing Arts. I am happy to be able to help students with their voices and their performing skills, teaching vocal technique and acting skills when preparing a song.
My area of expertise is Musical Theatre, but I also have my own pop album (singer and song writer), and I have much experience also in cover bands, latin songs and tango. I can sing in Spanish, English, Italian and French. I can teach all over the world through zoom.

I can teach kids, teenagers and adults (I have worked with all different ages). I specially work the ´voice gym´, the exercises, breathing technique (also can teach hypopressive gym to improve breathing capacity) and also, repertoire and style.
I love working on the acting of the song, and helping everyone find their own voice. It is really important to me to have a close relationship with the student and work on the truth, not just sing, but really be able to tell a story, using the voice effortless, with a happy, open feeling.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I welcome both beginner and advanced students to take my lessons. I will teach you in the styles you love at a pace you feel comfortable with.

I have been into Musical Theatre for 24 years. I have been a teacher for 20 years. I gave individual lessons but also groups, of all ages.
I was also the director when we put together a show or concert twice a year. I worked by myself but also at schools in Buenos Aires and Madrid. I had leading roles in musicals such as My Fair Lady (Argentina) and Mamma Mia (Dominican Republic).
I was also Lead Vocalist for Crystal Cruises, studying, training and working in New York and Los Angeles. I was finalist in Spain Got Talent 2017, and I also had a Golden Buzzer! It is not that I overvalue TV, but I think this kind of experience is really enriching, because it is great to develop auditioning techniques, and to be able to work with big audiences. Also to be able to reach people and transmit the same energy and feeling of a live performance through a screen.
I also teach musical theatre to more advanced singers.
Advanced students will be able to improve technique and see new ways of approaching a song, find their own personality when approaching a song. Individuality is very important to me, and I need a performer to be really honest, and full of content.
We can also work on repertoire, performance skills and different languages. I have different kinds of voice education, starting with Bel Canto, to Musical theatre style, to Voice Craft, I come from Buenos Aires, Studied in New York and Los Angeles, studied and worked in Madrid, so I have a very varied background to be able to approach the lessons from different points of view.
Acting skills also give me the chance to communicate with the student in different ways and using different images and resources to make them really understand the process, the functioning of the voice, and the way they can reach new horizons with their instruments.
I started singing when I was 15. I just opened my mouth and The Sound of Music came out. Everyone in the family were astonished. So I thought there was something special there. Then I started singing in a choir and learning Opera, and I became more and more enthusiastic about it. I saw my first big musical in Buenos Aires when I was 16, and I loved it. Then I continued studying but I did the Economics career. But, when I finished, I auditioned for a main role, and I was picked. That was the final decision. I never left after that moment.

My lessons cost £15 per half hour and £30 per hour for all students.
I take all of my lessons online via zoom or skype.
I teach students of all ages and all backgrounds how to sing.
Weekly lessons are by far the best way to learn how to sing.
