My two daughters have been learning piano and singing with Eliza for over a year – she has really helped instil confidence in themselves as musicians and get them used to performing. She really listens to them and treats them as individuals so that they really enjoy learning with her.

Eliza is a great teacher, she is understanding of your needs. Also, her lessons provide a good balance between fun and techniques.

I’ve been having lessons with Eliza for 4 years now. She has improved my range (not easy for a man in his 50s) at the top end, my breathing and my control. With the live performance showcases she organises for her students, I’ve also seen improvements of other students of all ages over the years. Not only that, but she makes it fun and she’s a lovely person.

I’m 17 now and have been having lessons since I was 11. I can truly stand by what I say and mean it when I recommend Eliza’s lessons to anybody. She is not only a lovely person to be around, who feels equally like a professional singing teacher and friend, but has truly impacted me and turned my confidence around. Without truly inspirational anchors in my life such as her, I don’t know where I would be. She has upped my voice, performance and quality as a person and has grown close to being family to me – when I say that you should go – I MEAN IT! I couldn’t imagine singing lessons with anybody else, and I can testify for the fact that I don’t think many, if any will come close to the support, love and reassurance I feel as soon as I step into her studios. The experience I’m describing isn’t that of one year or another, but all 6 years consistently, and all 6 years fill me with pride to label myself as one of Eliza’s longest serving students because truly, what a legacy to be a part of. 5 STARS.

Since starting lessons with Eliza around 4 years ago, the strength and overall technique of my voice has greatly improved. My confidence in performing has also come a long way, largely down to the lovely supportive environment Eliza creates in lessons and showcases.

Eliza was just what we were looking for as a singing teacher for Libby! Libby had a previous teacher but Eliza really gets Libby’s style and is making her more and more confident with every lesson! She thoroughly enjoys her time with Eliza. Fantastic teacher!

She is able to help with a range of styles and gives her students the opportunity to record their songs and perform in front of others at her student showcases. Eliza makes you feel at ease instantly, she’s warm and welcoming and is great at calming first lesson nerves. I was more confident in my singing than I ever thought I would be after just one lesson. Eliza is very flexible and able to give great advice based on theory in a way that makes sense to those of us who are complete novices and have no clue about the more technical side of singing!

As a total and utter beginner, I have to say Eliza is just a most lovely person who will get every last bit out of you – way-way more than you ever dared hope you might have. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to be able to sing then give her call and you will not be disappointed. Wonderful.

If you’ve always wanted to give singing a go but haven’t had the confidence, Eliza is there for you! Whatever your motivation for starting (or even picking it up again after a break) Eliza will get the most out of you; easing you in and supporting you and pushing you when you need it. Regular emails with singing exercise MP3s attached, connection to a private student-only Facebook page and fun open mic & choir nights mean you feel part of a little community where everyone’s in the same boat. I feel like I’m not alone and that I can really do it, plus having a relatively young teacher with their finger on the musical pulse really helps. If anyone told me 6 months ago that I would sing with a live band in front of a pub full of people I would never have believed them…
