I grew up in South Austin and began playing the Violin in 6th grade. I earned a Bachelor Degree in Music Education and I am certified to teach Middle School and High School Orchestra as well as All-Level Music.
I have been teaching private violin lessons and performing professionally since 1995. I have performed on stage, television and I have also played on various recordings. I currently serve as Minister of Music at Life Church Round Rock Texas as well as Orchestra Director at Tippit Middle School in Georgetown Texas.

I am a 75 year-old woman who at 70 wanted to “relearn” the viola after 50 years not ever touching the instrument. Justin not only brought me back to dexterity on the instrument but also became a wonderfully supportive friend along with his lovely family. He’s truly a consummate musician and inspirational leader!
Our 12 year old daughter has been going to Justin Farrow’s music school for violin instruction for almost 4 years now. Not only has she flourished as a musician, she has developed a love and appreciation for music that I know is due in very large part to Justin’s passion and excitement. His love for music is infectious!! He’s fun, patient, kind and relatable – for both the adult and child student. Justin has helped develop confidence and fostered an amazing talent in our daughter that we will forever be grateful for. The opportunities she’s had because of the work they’ve done together are amazing. Our experience with Justin has been nothing short of a blessing. We drive an hour one way to get to him, but I’d drive at least 2 to get there!! 🙂
One of the greatest decisions I made as a violinist was to start taking private lessons with Justin Farrow. Mr. Farrow pushed my abilities as a musician and his guidance carried me through middle and high school orchestra.
