I studied at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, founded by Paul McCartney and Mark Featherstone-Witty. Graduating in 2017 with a BA Hons in Music I have been working and performing professionally as a multi-instrumentalist. extensive touring experience across the UK, Europe & Africa, with artist’s supporting the likes of Lauryn Hill & Laura Mvula, Awarded Montreux Jazz Festival’s European Tour award 2018, associated with Fairmont Hotels.

My goal as a guitar and bass teacher is to help the student develop in their chosen instrument whilst also maintaining their love for playing, balancing a focus on technique and theory whilst also having an appreciation for what they enjoy most about playing.

Students would gain a tutor with a wealth of knowledge, both technical and practical, taught with a fun, friendly and patient personality.

I’ve been playing guitar since the age of 10, since then I have been working professionally as both a bassist and guitarist, performing in all varied styles including, Pop, Jazz, Funk, Soul, Blues, Folk, Electronic & more. I’ve studied up to a grade 7 in popular music through my university course, with knowledge in: Scales, Modes, Chords, Rhythm notation, Knowledge of popular music, Harmony, Transposition. I’ve had also had extensive experience working in studios and using DAW’s (Logic & Ableton), Recording Techniques & Production. Songwriting & Composition, Professional Development / How to brand & market yourself as an artist.

I’ve led an Indie-pop outfit that got picked up by a well-established management company, toured the UK festival scene and amassed a strong online following with international radio play. 470k+ streams on Spotify with endorsements from ASOS & Doc Marten. Features from DIY, Gaining representation from Raw Power Management & CODA.

These are all transferable skills I can teach onto my students. developing them on their musical ability and also encouraging them to advance their musical careers.
