Welcome to Singing Lessons Tooting, My name is Violeta and I’m a professional singing teacher based in Tooting, London.
My lessons are tailored to singers of any age and any ability. Together we will focus on the best path of learning for you. Whether that’s preparing for grades, learning the basics or just singing for fun, my lessons cater for all students whatever the age and ability.
I have over 10 years of teaching and performance experience to help you progress in the right direction and I also offer fantastic online lessons which are a great alternative if you are unable to attend my lessons. I will build a course of lessons that are fun and exciting whilst completely tailored to your singing needs.

My aim as a teacher is create a fun and relaxing environment where everyone is welcome and can enjoy the beauty of singing. We’ll look at learning through specific exercises, whilst focusing on the music you love. Through my lessons you will build the confidence to perform whilst developing great technique.
Any age, ability or gender are welcome. If you’re a complete beginner and don’t know where to start or an advanced singer looking to practice your technique, we’ll develop the right program to help you progress as fast as you can.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.

I am an experienced singing teacher and performer with over 20 years of experience in both. Throughout my singing career I have studied vocals at BIMM London and Vilnius Pedagogical University, obtaining a BA at both institutions, I have also received a certificate of higher music education from Juozo Tallat-Kelpsos Conservatory where I studied Pop and Jazz Vocals.
During my time at Vilnius I also studied and received my music teacher qualification. I have a full DBS check and a child safeguarding certificate. I am also an actively performing artist in both singing and piano, I have experience in performing throughout Europe and have won several international performance contests.
I have a great passion for music, especially singing and can’t wait to use all my experience to help you to progress your singing in the right direction. Whatever your skill level or goals, please get in touch and we can discuss how to get the most of our your singing and how to progress at the quickest possible rate.

My lessons are fun and relaxed. I understand how important it is to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable and are able to express themselves. Singing is very much about expression and confidence, so my aim is create an environment where you can completely express yourself and learn how to build confidence in your singing voice.

Listening to new music is a great way to learn
London has so much to offer for music, and there are many great places where you can pick up new records or if you need to a new instrument. Here are some of my favourites.
Schott Music offer a huge selection of sheet music and music books. A great place to pick up some new learning material. They also have various instruments and offer practice room services if you need a place to make a little more noise.
Yamaha Music London is an incredible 3 storey showroom which will cater to all your musical needs. It has all instruments and is a great place to pick up a new microphone or recording software.
Hobgoblin is another great music shop in London. They have a wide range of instruments and sheet music. They can offer great advice on buying some bespoke instruments, but also beginner ones too.

My lessons are £25 for half an hour and £45 per hour.
My lessons take place in my home studio in Tooting, London, SW17 0DX.
I teach any age 5 and upwards.
You can attend lessons whenever suits you. Weekly, fortnightly or even one off lessons. We will work around what suits you.
Singing Lessons Tooting has a strict cancellation policy whereby if your lesson is not cancelled within 48 hours of the booking, the full lesson fee will be charged.
