Hello! My name is Sara Sanders and I am a professional singing tutor located in Tiverton. I offer industry standard singing lessons to a wide range of ages.
I pride myself on always making sure I maintain a high quality of tuition for all of my students. I currently offer lessons in a wide range of styles including Pop, R n B, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Country & everything else you can think of.
I have a great amount of experience in teaching all ages of student. I would recommend starting no younger than age 7 though. I am currently a mobile teacher which means I will travel to you for your lessons and you can learn in the comfort of your own home.

I grew up in a world full of music from a young age and took part in many dance and musical theatre productions until the age of 15. After finishing my studies I quickly went into teaching and have been enjoying teaching ever since.
I would recommend my hour-long lessons for any student with a keen interest to grow and improve themselves. One lesson per week should be enough to see some great progress. Advanced Players & beginners welcome and I teach ages 7+ weekly or fortnightly. Our lessons are personalised to you and your musical goals.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.

I studied a national diploma in musical theatre at Exeter college, gaining a triple distinction. I then went on to study a two-year degree in performance, gaining a pass. I have also completed a full BA Hons degree in music and performance industries with the academy of music and sound, achieving a 2:1.

I performed in many musical theatre productions with an opera dramatic society whilst growing up. I've also had experience with singing auditions, for example, drama schools. I also gained experience with working in a band as well as a solo performer whilst at university.

Tiverton is only a small area, however there is a couple of great music shops here to suit a local singer.
Hickies are an indipendant music store here in Tiverton. They stock a wide range of musical instruments and instrument hire. Alongside this they stock music books, headphones and vocal microphones. The shop is located in Tiverton Business Park, Lowman Units Lowman Way, Tiverton EX16 6SR.
Music Room are located a short drive away on 154 Sidwell St, Exeter EX4 6RT. Music room stocks a host of pop and orchestral instruments and accessories. Also Musicroom stock a huge selection of choir vocal arrangement books and songbooks too!
LMS Music Supplies are a fantastic shop located in Exeter EX1 1WB. Here you can find everything from music books and lyric sheets, to ear protection, PA speakers for live singing with live and even studio quality vocal microphones.

Lessons are £16 per half-hour and £25 for an hour of one-to-one singing lessons.
I am actually a mobile teacher, meaning I travel to the location of my students across Tiverton. This is important when it comes to learning to sing because I want all of my students to feel comfortable. There is no place more comfortable and familiar than your own home.
I teach students of all ages and abilities from 7+.
I recommend all my students take lessons weekly for maximum progress in a short amount of time, however I can do fortnightly lessons.
At Singing Lessons Tiverton I offer a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel a lesson that is fine, but please let me know more then 48 hours before the start date. If lessons are cancelled within 48 hours they will be charged at full lesson fee.
