Whether you’re looking to simply improve your voice, increase confidence or move through singing grades, I can offer a professional, fun and friendly learning environment.
Hi! I’m Kier and I’ve been a professional singing teacher for 10 years. I pride myself on creating a relaxed environment, where as an aspiring singer you can feel at ease, learning and evolving at your own pace.
I teach all genres of music from Rock to Classical, musical theatre to jazz (my favourite!). I also have a proven track record of guiding students through the RSL Rock school grading system.

A first lesson with me starts with a friendly chat, finding out what musical styles, genres, artists and songs you love. We’ll discuss what you want to get out of my teaching, if you would like to go through vocal grades, become the lead singer of a rock band, increase vocal range, improve technique or simply build confidence and perform your first open mic.
My key focus is to help you build the skills you need quickly and efficiently and I often find that each song reveals its own challenges therefore, I prefer for us to constantly learn new and exciting music instead of hours and hours of endless vocal exercises, it’s far more fun and engaging!
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I welcome both beginner and more advanced learners to take my lessons. I will make a lesson plan that works for you.

I have been a professional singer since 2005, playing all over the world. I use this is experience to make sure your lessons are always of the highest quality. Alongside teaching I am currently a full-time session vocalist and wedding singer.
All of these experiences have given me a specific edge within my teaching. Having to personally sing many different genres on a daily basis, I know what techniques need to be employed into each song and how to develop the skills to improve them.
I also have helped many students develop their compositional skills often writing and producing music within my studio.
I also welcome more experienced singers to take my lessons.
Alongside welcoming beginner singers, I also teach both intermediate and more advanced vocalists so they can reach the next level within their performing.
I have found that this is best achieved by drawing in new styles and genres where new techniques can be studied and obtained. Often, these new genres, styles and songs can offer techniques that can enhance the singers preferred style, making them a more rounded vocalist.
In combination to this I offer the ability to write and produce music within my studio. Developing song writing techniques is a valuable skill to possess and my intermediate and advanced lessons explore how students can find their ‘voice’ within the music that they write.
Many of my students have been with me for years. Over that time they have become my friends. Teaching friends is a wonderful experience and is certainly the thing I love most about teaching. Getting to know many different people from different backgrounds that all have one thing in common (singing) is fantastic!

My lessons are charged at £15 per half hour and £30 per hour for all students.
I teach my lessons from a teaching space located in Chepstow NP16 5LL, UK.
I teach students of all ages in a wide range of styles and genres.
Weekly lessons are the best way to improve your ability level. Learning to sing takes a lot of effort so it also take a lot of home practice as well.
Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will still be charged full price.
