Hi everyone, my name is Sonia and I’m an experienced singing teacher based in Bicester offering high quality (holistic) singing lessons for all ages. My lessons are built around your singing ability level. I’m comfortable teaching both beginners and advanced singers in a range of styles.
I pride myself on providing highly effective and enjoyable lessons for all of my students. I think that when you enjoy what you learn then your progress is better, and it happens faster.
I will take you through everything from breathing techniques to singing the songs you love. My expertise areas are breathing, voice development and song preparation. I will teach you to sing in pitch, in rhythm and with musical understanding.
My lessons are always exciting, informative, and relaxing. You’ll discover your voice and get the confidence to express yourself freely! I have experience in singing a wide range of styles and because of this I can teach in a direction that you want to go in - always at a pace that you feel comfortable with. Before we start our lessons, I will make sure we both have a clear idea of where the lessons are going.

I am described as a devoted and passionate teacher who gains satisfaction from helping others to reach vocal freedom. Because of my studies and experience I have an extensive stylistic knowledge what gives me the ability to work with students interested in various music genres.
I'm very easy to talk to and consider myself very approachable. I will always be happy to answer any questions you might have about learning to sing & I really will pay close attention to all areas of your singing from confidence to posture to general understanding of music.
I help with preparation towards exams, auditions, recording studio sessions, singing with a live band or preparing promotional materials. In my studio you can learn how to work with the microphone and get your first professional recordings too!
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I can teach both beginners and advanced players in a wide range of styles. I will make a lesson plan that suits your ability level.

I started giving singing lessons in 2011 and since 2016 I've given holistic singing lessons for those who are interested in getting into the core of singing.
Initially singing as a session musician for a recording studio, my international music career began with my first performing contract signed in 2009. During the next 5 years I sang in New York, Nagoya, Dubai, China, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria and Slovakia before I moved to London. In 2013 I debuted in London with a sold out concert in POSK.
My creative versatility expressed itself through collaborations with Gary Crosby OBE (Jazz Warriors) , Tadeusz Domanowski (Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, EMI Classics) and Robin Banerjee (Amy Winehouse).

Voice is my main instrument. During teaching I mainly use piano, sometimes double bass and additionally recordings and tools supporting the process. My teaching covers ear training, pitch awarenesses and execution, register blend, breathing for singing, correcting bad singing habits, e-learning the tone of voice, vocal range, warm ups, jazz improvisation, singing in pitch, understanding music
Layering solid foundation I will guide you starting from breathing techniques through kinaesthetic awareness, showing you the secrets of vocal emission.
If you are a singer /or want to become one/ I will lead you through vocal exercises and tuning so you will always sing in pitch with a natural and original sound of your voice
Music shops in the local area.
There aren't many music shops in the area. If yu want more options I recommend travelling to oxford or checking online stores.
Cymbals, Drums & Hardware, is the only music shop in the area and as you can tell from the name they cater to drummers. If you're a drummer though, they have a great range of everything you'd need to get started. You can find them at 100 Barry Ave, Bicester OX26 2DL.
I will support you in choosing the repertoire and will teach you most effective techniqes to prepare a song. On top of all of that you will know how to effectively deal with stage fright. Everyone is welcome! From absolute beginners to advanced and everybody who works with voice: Teachers, Speakers, Actors, Executive, Interpreters and Public Speakers.

My lessons are charged at £50 per 3/4 hour for all students.
I take most of my lessons from my hme teaching space in Bicester, OX26 6YN.
I have a great deal of experience teaching students of all ages in a wide range of styles and genres.
Weekly lessons are probably the best way to improve your playing in a short period of time.
Students can reschedule the arranged lesson 48 hours prior to the lesson start with no cancellation fee. Please note that last minute cancellations or no show is fully charged, though sickness/emergencies are excused.
