About

About

I have been a professional musician and teacher for over 30 years. For the last 20 years joined more than 25 groups, as a performer. As a band leader, I create my Jazz band and made more than 300 concerts in Canada since 2014, even though I was a concert organizer for more than 1 year. I was part of a bass player in 6 CDs. Teaching almost all styles based on jazz harmony from Blues to Fusion, including all Balkan styles.

I am specialized in the extended range bass(5-6str) but teach 4 str bass str. as well.

I created a 6-str bass chord concept. In this tutorial, I explain how to play 5 chords all over the fretboard from the lowest to the highest note. I also innovate new chords that didn’t exist before as an option. This concept is with a music track(MP3) and every example is music notated. As an experienced teacher, I created 3 music courses online. I have also had huge experience as a Gospel Church player.

For more than 30 years I have been on the stage. I played on international tours in more than 6 different countries such as Bulgaria, Holland, Canada, Israel, the USA, and Ukraine. In Switzerland, I was playing at the biggest Christian festival Levitencamp and I was playing for more than 12,000 people.

I was studying for 1 year with Mr. John Patitucci and attended 2 workshops with Mr. Alain Caron. My playing is greatly influenced by these two professional bass players.

I teach the following disciplines: Bass Guitar, Music Theory, Jazz Improvisation, and Musical Composition As a music teacher, I have been active for over 30 years, working with students from all over the world to help them achieve their music-playing goals, teaching all those 3 disciplines and also teaching Music Composition and helping people with their original projects. In my lessons, I teach all components of music such as rhythm, harmony, melody, theory, soloing and improvisation. For more than 5 years I was teaching in a Music school Yuwalim in Israel – Tel Aviv.

I am working with a program(software) that can help drastically to improve the music student’s ability and get involved in the music for a short period. The program is like a playback. I have the flexibility to create track/song playback for any instrument, as we know minus one for guitar, piano bass and drums. Some components can adjust to the student: Tempo 20-300 BPM, 12 different keys and more than 40 styles. Also was involved in a Jazz Student band as a teacher leader.

This course really helped me to understand everything about music and all the things connected to the basic music rules. One of the good things is that it covers the extended bass with explanations, colours and so many things. The course helped me to understand every topic in detail that I have not found anywhere else, compared to other sources. Here I covered everything that I was missed to start as a musician like notes, duration, counting, circle of fifths, keys, ranges, different rhythmic measures, dynamics or all that a beginning musician needs. Here I also found the information I could not find anywhere. Explanation of how to follow a music chart, here I learned what is the Segno, the Coda and how to follow all the musical signs, this information I didn’t find it in any place. Also, the information is easy to use and it’s helped. A very good course and covers everything that needs a bass player with 4, 5 or 6 strings who would like to start as a bass player, and even this course can help other musicians too. I recommend it to anyone because this course is beyond my expectations.
