About

About

A multi-instrumentalist and the Director of Chhattisgarh’s leading Western music institute Mr. Vatsal Agrawal possesses over a decade of extensive teaching experience, coupled with an enduring commitment to the field of music education. His teaching journey commenced in 2012 with a single student in a modest setting, culminating in the establishment of the Vatsal School of Music in 2014. Today, this institution encompasses two thriving branches in Bhilai (Junwani & Risali), with a team of passionate teachers serving over 250 students locally and extending its reach to online students worldwide.

Mr. Vatsal holds two Grade 8 Qualifications in Rock & Pop Guitar and Vocals. He went on to earn prestigious ALCM and LLCM Diplomas in Electric Guitar Performance from London College of Music, becoming the first person to have Level 5 & Level 6 qualifications from a UK music examination board in Chhattisgarh state.

Mr. Vatsal has been the driving force behind a dramatic shift in Western music education in Chhattisgarh. Before 2016, students were compelled to travel to major cities like Delhi or Kolkata for International UK board music exams. After personally encountering these difficulties, he took a decisive leap and single-handedly brought these prestigious exams to Chhattisgarh for the first time. This revolutionary move has broken down barriers, granting students unprecedented access to world-class music education and creating a new era of opportunity for aspiring musicians across the state.

A visionary educator, curriculum designer, and passionate mentor, Mr. Vatsal is known for his adaptive and innovative approach to music education – committed to empowering both students and teachers to reach new heights of artistic and academic excellence.

Vatsal School of Music is an Authorized Exam Centre for Rockschool London (RSL) and also provides high-quality online music education to students across the globe. Mr. Vatsal is also a full member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors, London (RGT).
