My name is Simon Bennett and I’ve been a full time guitar tutor for over 28 years, during which time I have helped over 2500 people become the best guitarists they can possibly be.

I am located in Hyde and have a purposefully equipped room in my house that is dedicated solely to teaching guitar lessons. There is ample free parking outside on a quiet, easy to find cul-de-sac.

I teach ELECTRIC, ACOUSTIC, CLASSICAL and FINGERSTYLE guitar lessons from beginners level right upto Grade 8 advanced, as well as BASS and UKULELE and I am one of the very few teachers in the UK able to offer TOUCHSTYLE guitar lessons as well.

Former pupils I have taught have gone on to play gigs with and alongside some of the BIGGEST bands in the world (Not just in a tent on the other side of the field but actually with and as tour support) including:

OASIS, PAUL WELLER, KASABIAN, DEEP PURPLE, OCEANSIZE, HAPPY MONDAYS, IAN BROWN, BUZZCOCKS, MINISTRY, THE ENEMY, THE CHARLATANS and MANY MORE!!
