About

About

I began my teaching career after completing an open college network certificate in music facilitation in 2001. I worked for the community music service for the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, an award-winning service, as their only vocal coach for the next 19 years. I taught in many local schools and even taught Jessie from Little Mix before she found fame on X Factor.

Music and singing are my passion and I enjoy passing on my experience of performing onto my students. My favourite genres are pop, soul, disco, and musical theatre but pride myself in teaching any genre that is required.

I have sung professionally in many venues across the country as part of the female vocal duo, Coffee and Cream, and as a solo artist. I also dabble in songwriting and have produced an album called Sweet Release, which is available to buy on Amazon.

Music Qualifications & Achievements:

  • O’Level Music
  • Btec Performing Arts Merit/Distinction
  • Open College Network Certificate in Music Facilitation
  • I became a Music Tutor because I wanted to share the great feeling that I get from performing and entertaining. You can’t beat it!
