About

About

My name is Owen, I’m an experienced guitar teacher from Scotland,UK. I take most of my lessons via zoom and have been teaching guitar on zoom, facetime and skype for over 6 years now & can help students of all levels how to improve their playing in a wide range of genres from pop and acoustic to blues and metal and any other genre in between.

Alongside over 18 years of guitar playing, 13 years teaching in the music industry, I also record my own music and have toured the UK and Europe multiple times. I’m currently writing and recording music with the band “Holodek” & will be releasing an album late 2024. I have a track record of having helped hundreds of students just like you to rapidly improve their guitar playing ability through focusing on the music that my student’s enjoy in their spare time as well as applying a close attention to detail and making sure my students achieve exactly what they want to achieve, whether that be improvisation, learning songs, music theory, speeding up playing, song writing or building accuracy.

My touring and playing experience and supportive nature can also help students build confidence in themselves. Many of my students have gone on to record themselves & write their own music. I also boast a 100% exam pass rate for those who want to go down that route.

Above all else, My lessons are catered to your needs and are always enjoyable. I will always go the extra mile to make sure you hit your goals, even outside of our lessons.
