For 2 years Nairn played drums with swim school and during this time he performed at major music festivals such as TRNSMT and Belladrum. He also performed various live sessions for the BBC on both TV and radio. At the end of 2019, they toured around the UK to support pop-rock giants, The XCERTS playing sold out shows at OMEARA in London and two nights at King Tuts in Glasgow. One of Nairn’s final gigs with swim school was their sold out debut headline show in Edinburgh which closed the chapter to start a new adventure.

Since September 2021 Nairn has been performing for Scottish singer Callum Beattie and has performed at Murrayfield Stadium, the Usher Hall, TRNSMT Festival and Montreal Jazz Festival in Switzerland. At the end of 2021 he toured around the UK supporting Amy Macdonald performing at the London Roundhouse, the iconic Bridgewater Hall in Manchester and to 14,000 people at a sold out OVO Hydro in Glasgow.
